Ending Homelessness and Expanding Affordable Housing in Lake County

Liz Nelson, Associate Director of Advocacy for Lake County with Connections for the Homeless, will discuss the urgent need for affordable housing and the organization’s work to end homelessness in our region. Connections serves over 5,000 people annually while leading advocacy efforts such as Joining Forces for Affordable Housing. Liz will highlight current challenges, innovative housing solutions, and opportunities for community partners to make a difference.
