Join us as we welcome Allen J. Lynch of Gurnee, a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and a lifelong advocate for service to others. As a young soldier in Vietnam, Mr. Lynch repeatedly risked his life to rescue and protect wounded fellow soldiers under intense fire, choosing to stay behind alone so others could survive. His actions that day shaped not only the lives he saved, but the path of his own life.

Since returning home, Mr. Lynch has devoted his career to serving veterans and their families through leadership roles at both the federal and state level. He is also the author of Zero to Hero: From Bullied Kid to Warrior, a powerful story of resilience, faith, and a life committed to service.
